Golden Age collection
Designed by Arianna Cazzola
The golden is one of the most fascinating and romantic syndromes: it is a form of denial of the present, considered banal, idealizing a certain historical period during which we delude ourselves that we would have been happier. This great illusion, in our mind, is painted in a dreamy atmosphere that makes it magical.

Refined colors
In this case, in the designer's imagination, the golden age coincides with the roaring 20s, among wonderful Art Deco architecture, luxury clubs with a jazz music background, the creative ferment of artists and inventors, the great theatrical shows and the illusion of a long periodof well-being and prosperity.
This rich period between the two wars inspires this desing concept, mixing with vaguely 50s shapes and color schemes. The golden age has been graphicaly translated into the geometric construction of the golden ratio, the expression of an ideal of perfection.
Our Hand-tufting Process
Hand-tufting requires a pistol-like tool to punch the yarn into a previously stretched fabric. The strands are tufted into the areas marked by a map-template designed specifically for each rug.
After that, the yarn on the surface of the rug is cut and shaved to achieve the desired pile height. The design is contoured with scissors or a needle in order to correctly define the different areas of the motif.
A layer of latex is applied to the reverse side to ensure that the yarn remains attached to the structure. To finish, a layer of cotton fabric is affixed to act as a lining, offering a quality finish.
